<p><b>Salary: £14,610 - 19,710 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Experience in logging, monitoring, and resolving service desk calls within agreed service levels.</li><li>Ability to provide first line and second line support to a user base.</li><li>Proficiency in installing, configuring, and testing hardware and software components.</li><li>Willingness to work flexibly, including remote home-working and office working on a rota basis.</li><li>Familiarity with undertaking routine operational tasks, such as completing and monitoring data backups and restores.</li><li>Strong communication skills for liaising with users, support services, and third-party suppliers.</li><li>Availability to participate in the IT emergency standby/on-call rota, with remuneration in accordance with the council's agreed Standby policy.</li><li>Experience working within an ITIL service management framework.</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>I log, monitor, and resolve service desk calls, ensuring they are addressed within agreed service levels.</li><li>I provide first line and second line support to the council's user base.</li><li>I install, configure, and test hardware and software components.</li><li>I work in an agile and flexible manner, balancing remote and office work as required.</li><li>I carry out routine operational tasks, including data backups and restores.</li><li>I liaise effectively with users, support services, and third-party suppliers.</li><li>I participate in the IT emergency standby/on-call rota as needed.</li></ul>
