DevOps Engineer
<p><b>Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 per year</b></p>
<b>Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>Hands-on DevOps or software delivery background.</li><li>Proven track record designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines (ideally within Azure).</li><li>Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).</li><li>Solid grasp of software development practices - version control, testing, and deployment.</li><li>Experience containerizing applications (Docker) and deploying to Kubernetes (Helm/helmfile).</li><li>Familiar with integrating automated testing and security tooling into pipelines.</li><li>Comfortable with Git-based source control platforms (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).</li><li>Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.</li><li>Agile software delivery experience (Jira/Kanban, sprint ceremonies).</li></ul>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Work within the DevOps squad to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in line with our DevOps strategy.</li><li>Collaborate with the Senior DevOps Lead and cross-functional teams to align solution design and delivery, adopting an agile mindset.</li><li>Automate deployments and system provisioning using modern scripting and orchestration tools.</li><li>Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to support delivery goals.</li><li>Identify project milestones and risks, contributing to estimation, prioritization, and risk-mitigation activities.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps tools and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the team.</li><li>Produce clear, detailed documentation (e.g., Confluence) and maintain issue tracking in tools such as Jira.</li><li>Champion software quality, security, and performance, and continuously hone your own skills.</li><li>Undertake ad hoc duties as required.</li></ul>
