No matter where you are based, no ghost will be left behind and we appreciate every moment we get to work and have fun together.</p><h2>About the role</h2><p>We’re hiring a Talent Relations Partner to help us deepen our connection to the engineering ecosystem and continue building one of the highest-calibre teams in DeFi.</p><p>Aave is recognised as one of the most technically respected projects in Web3. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and talent - acting as a trusted ambassador to builders, while helping us assess and attract exceptional technical contributors.</p><p>This isn’t a traditional recruiter profile. We’re looking for someone who understands technical architecture, can read and evaluate engineering work with credibility, and enjoys engaging directly with developers and technical communities. You’ll combine technical fluency with strong communication and people skills to identify signal, build trust, and strengthen our engineering brand.</p><p>Reporting into the Senior People & Talent Partner, you’ll partner closely with Engineering to shape how we engage, assess and convert top technical talent.</p><h2>How you can make an impact:</h2><ul><li>Act as a technical ambassador to the engineering community, representing Aave with credibility and clarity</li><li>Engage with technical ecosystems through hackathons, open-source communities and developer forums to identify emerging talent and build long-term relationships with high-potential contributors</li><li>Support technical hiring processes by assessing foundational technical understanding and identifying high-signal profiles</li><li>Partner with Engineering leads to understand architecture, protocol design and roadmap priorities</li><li>Help refine role scopes and success profiles based on real technical context</li><li>Strengthen candidate experience by translating complex protocol concepts clearly and accurately</li><li>Contribute to employer brand initiatives across technical communities</li><li>Run structured interview processes and maintain a high bar for technical evaluation</li></ul><h2>Let’s connect if you have:</h2><ul><li>1–3 years’ experience in DevRel, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting or a similar developer-facing role, with a clear desire to pivot into a people-centred role within Talent</li><li>You have a foundational understanding of smart contracts, DeFi protocols or backend systems architecture</li><li>Comfortable reading technical documentation, GitHub repositories and architectural discussions</li><li>Naturally people-oriented with strong communication skills</li><li>Able to build credibility quickly with engineers and technical stakeholders</li><li>Curious about decentralised technologies and motivated by long-term ecosystem building</li></ul><p>Haven’t quite met all the criteria?
